I started with what I think of as a beautiful photograph – life isn’t always that simple or beautiful but wouldn’t it be great if it was? Except there’s a nagging suspicion that I’d get bored by that and therein lies the rub. I’m a contrary being and so, I suspect, are most people.
So, I mean to go exploring the world around me, the one inside my own head, and trying to understand at least some of what goes on inside the heads of others. It could be controversial, illuminating or downright irritating but not boring, I hope.
I agree, Laura. I think living inside only perfection and sublimity sadly allows for one to miss out on the necessity of grace. I think contrast is a much needed experience in our lives, and I think your words reflect that beautifully.
