The good news is that Facebook have finally decided that their stance is untenable and will change their policy. More here;

This is good news. Just how good this turns out remains to be seen, but even if the words turn out to be an empty promise, the fact that Facebook has publicly declared that it needs to change is a big step in the right direction.

It’s a statement they can be held to, it leads the way for other organisations who may also have to review their policy and it shows that something can be achieved.
