Weird squiggly tree fungus

No doubt my Biologist son will tell me that it isn’t a true fungus at all, but something else with an incomprehensible name, but it’s a squiggly thing I found growing on a fallen tree trunk.

    I’m totally with you. Weird squiggly tree fungus sounds scientific enough to me. 😉
